Throughout the year, retailers have been working hard to collect and reply to reviews on Autotrader. Today we’re excited to announce our Highly Rated retailers for 2026. It’s been another fantastic year with over 1700 retailers being awarded Highly Rated for their customer service in 2026.
Highly Rated is our annual award given to some of the best retailers on our platform who not only have great reviews but also adhere to best practices when it comes to managing reviews and creating a great experience for every customer.
Highly Rated winners will be awarded a Highly Rated badge on their adverts and retailer stores to show off to consumers looking for their next vehicle.
What it took to be Highly Rated in 2026:
% of reviews relative to sales
Average rating of 4.5 stars or higher
Minimum of 10 reviews
Reply to 95% of 1- & 2-star reviews
All retailers are required to comply with their obligations in respect of reviews under the DMCC Act and any retailers who are found to have breached those obligations will be disqualified from Highly Rated.
The Highly Rated store returns
This year we are bringing back our exclusive Highly Rated merchandise store, giving all winners the opportunity to shout about their win with a range of exclusive merchandise. Each winner can redeem their exclusive sticker pack and spend their voucher.
Share your success and enter our prize draw
To reach even more potential customers, share your success on social media. We’ll be giving 3 lucky winners a donation of £500 to a charity of their choice.
Here’s how you can enter:
Post a photo or video on LinkedIn or Instagram of your Highly Rated 2026 Award in your showroom
Entries across multiple platforms are permitted, so make sure they tag our Autotrader Insight social media accounts on LinkedIn (Autotrader Insight) and Instagram (@AutotraderInsight) using the hashtag #athighlyrated2026
Retailers will be entered once into the prize draw (per social media platform) if they share their own photo or twice if they share a video with the award materials.
The prize draw will run between 10am on Monday 20th July 2026 and 23:59pm on Monday 10th August 2026.²
Your Highly Rated 2027 journey starts now
Don’t forget Highly Rated is measured on a yearly basis and reviews are already counting towards next year’s award. Keep collecting and replying to reviews throughout the year to be in with the best chance of winning in 2027.
