Proud Sponsors of the Great British Bake Off

Six month sponsorship of the Great British Bake Off

This March we'll launch an exciting 6-month sponsorship of the Great British Bake off, marking a major brand moment for us as this places us alongside one of the UK's most loved and trusted TV programs.

The sponsorship will help us in our goal to further raise brand awareness, and bring even more buyers to Autotrader, ensuring we’re front of mind when they’re searching for a new vehicle.

A star-studded launch

Kicking off on Sunday 22nd March with the Great Celebrity Bake Off Stand Up to Cancer, the line up will feature familiar faces, with celebrity bakers such as media personality Molly-Mae Hague, dancer and singer Jojo Siwa, singer and songwriter Rag’n’Bone Man, radio and podcast host Sam Thompson, comedian Joe Wilkinson and Youtuber and presenter Nella Rose, all stepping into the tent to face the Signature, Technical and Showstopper challenges.

These high-profile episodes will help us reach a broad audience at the very start of the sponsorship, setting the tone for the six months ahead.

Brand new adverts

As part of the sponsorship, we’ve created brand new Autotrader adverts that will run across Bake Off content on both TV and on demand, including:

  • All new episodes of The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up to Cancer and Bake Off The Professionals, shown when live on TV.

  • All Bake Off content on demand during the six month period, including archive episodes of the original Great British Bake Off and spin-offs.

This gives Autotrader consistent, high-impact visibility across one of the UK’s most culturally relevant shows.

Expected to deliver 240 million impressions

The sponsorship is expected to deliver a huge 240 million impressions across all audiences, reaching 30% of all adults on average 15 times throughout the six months.

By aligning Autotrader with a trusted and much-loved programme, the sponsorship will help build brand warmth and trust, reinforcing Autotrader as a familiar and reliable brand in people’s everyday lives.
